You’re in control
Physiotherapy is a multi faceted profession using hands on therapy. The aim is to encourage and support a return to the patient’s Normal or previous activities following illness, surgery disease or trauma. Whether the problem is a sprained ankle, lower back pain, women’s health or an orthopaedic problem, physiotherapy can give you back your independence and control.
Methods used such as massage, trigger point acupuncture, exercise direction, electrotherapy and postural advice all can contribute to healing and putting you back on track. Goals are discussed and the right programme for the patient is paramount.
I aim to identify problems which can then be addressed and potential maximised to the full through health promotion, preventative healthcare, treatment and rehabilitation. My aim is to help and guide you to get better.

I have known Amanda for about 12 years after a fellow runner recommended her. Amanda’s approach focused on my needs and expectations and she both resolved my aching knees and made recommendations for long term improvements. The exercises that she gave me were hugely beneficial and I’m delighted to say that I’ve enjoyed the benefits and still run competitively.H MacArthur
